NOW—NOT LATER

Zach Vertz

In the summer of 2010, I went on my first Summer Burn trip to Mount Lebanon. Everything changed for me that week. Before that week, I wasn’t thinking about my future, especially not how God wanted to use me for His purposes. But that camp changed everything for me. God showed me that the steps I was taking at that time, even though I was young, would impact my future. I began to ask God what He would have me do with my future. Keep in mind; I was only 17 at the time. You are never too young to ask what God has for you in your life. If anything you can’t begin soon enough because the book of Galatians says, “what we sow we will reap”. The more we sow prayers the more we’ll reap answers about what God would have for you. So start asking now what God would have you do and what His will is for your life. He promises that He will show you how He wants to use you. Our job is only to ask and take the necessary steps He’s leading us to. He doesn’t want to give you just a mediocre existence, He wants to use you and reveal His plan for your life. Just ask Him!

READ 1 TIMOTHY 4:12 and MATTHEW 7:7

Jeremiah was 17 years old when He was called by God.
Mary was a teenager when she had Jesus.
Samuel was 12 years old when he was called to be a prophet.
Daniel was 15 years old when God began to unfold His plan through him.

David was just a boy when he slew Goliath.

Don’t tell me God doesn’t use the young. You’re never too young to ask what God would have you do with your future. Begin asking what God has for you Now, Not Later
