We all have a best friend. You may have one, two, or maybe
even a handful of people in your life that you would do anything for… or would
you?
I want you to think of those best friends and ask yourself
if they know Jesus Christ.
Are you willing to share the love of God that you have with
them?
Have you been avoiding that conversation because you are nervous,
ashamed, or fearful of their reaction?
I have a friend who I would list as one of my best friends.
We basically spent our entire childhoods together. Despite sharing so much in
common, Kevin and I both had different perspectives on faith. He was never
against Christianity, he was just one not to apply it to his life. I often felt
led to speak into His life and although I did at times, I know I could have
done much more. So this challenge is for me just as much or more than it will
for you.
Sometimes the reason behind our indifference is the feeling
that we don’t have anything to give. When we feel weak ourselves, we don’t feel
like we are in the place to speak into the lives of others. This is wrong
thinking. The Holy Spirit has given you and I both special gifts to use in
order to help, encourage, and ultimately lead others to salvation.
To directly combat indifference is to intentionally do kind
deeds for others.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.”

If you truly want to experience joy, make sharing your faith
a priority. You will discover that in telling others of the promises that God
has given you, you yourself will be filled with joy and the assurance of your
faith.
