Psalm
143:8
“If
you wake me each morning with the sound of your loving voice, I’ll go to sleep each night trusting in you. Point out the
road I must travel; I’m all ears, all eyes before you.”
This
human life is confusing. There are so many paths to take… so many options that
lie ahead. There are countless factors that contribute to making decisions,
especially big ones that affect your future. I spent years worrying about how
one decision could potentially cause a domino affect of decisions and life
events. High school can bring on a massive amount of stress. There are college
decisions, sports and extracurricular decisions, class decisions, family
decisions… all while battling everyday life as a teenager in a broken world.
When you allow the Lord to wake you each morning with a trustful attitude, you
can rest in knowing that He will guide your decisions. He is that still, small
voice deep in your heart that brings on that “gut feeling”. He will give you
wisdom and assurance to move forward in any and all decisions. He loves you and
has promised to never leave you or forsake you.
