Read Psalm 121:1-8

“I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains?

No, my strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.

He won’t let you stumble; your Guardian God won’t fall asleep. Not on your life! Israel’s Guardian will never doze or sleep. God’s your Guardian, right at your side to protect you- shielding you from sunstroke, sheltering you from moonstroke. God guards you from every evil; he guards your very life. He guards you when you leave and when you return, he guards you now, he guards you always.”

Fear is something I have struggled with my entire life. I have experienced anxiety, panic attacks, paralyzing fear, and sleepless nights due to worry, overthinking, stress, and fright. When I was younger, I often did not see “fear” for what it truly was: the enemy. Satan works incredibly hard on a daily basis to discourage, debilitate, and tear down those who are working for the Kingdom of God. In understanding this, I can address my fear by addressing the enemy… and REBUKING him! The Message version of Psalm 121 says this: “God guards you from every evil, he guards your very life. He guards you when you leave and when you return, he guards you now, he guards you always.” I love this. He guards you now, and He guards you ALWAYS! Take back your life from fear, anxiety, and worry. Relationships, money, bills, children, spouses, family members, work struggles… none of these are worth stealing your joy! Today, claim the hope, peace, and joy that Jesus has died to give you and walk in knowing that the grave has been conquered- rendering Satan DEFEATED!
