Isaiah
43:1-4
“But
now, God’s Message, the God who made you in the first place, Jacob, the One who
got you started, Israel. “Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you. I’ve called your
name. You’re mine. When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When
you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a
hard place, it won’t be a dead end— Because I am God, your personal God, The
Holy of Israel, and your Savior. I paid a huge price for you: all of Egypt,
with rich Cush and Seba thrown in! That’s how much you mean to me! That’s
how much I love you! I’d
sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you.”
The
love of Jesus is BIG. There is no comparison on earth that could help our human
minds comprehend the love that Jesus has for His children. We live in an
extremely broken world. Families are being torn apart, children and teenagers
are becoming more and more corrupt, the media world screams false identity, and
Satan is having a blast. The ONLY security and constant in our human lives is
the promise that Christ has claimed us as His own. Verse 2 says, “I’ve redeemed
you. I’ve called your name. You’re mine.” Walking in this confidence, every day
life is much more bearable. When we allow the Lord to be our Father, our
Provider, and our Strength, He is given the ability to move freely through our
hearts and our everyday lives. Trust Him. He loves you, he adores you, and he
paid the ultimate sacrifice to claim you.
